Music & Movement Classes
Third Street children discover the joy of responding with their whole selves to instruments, song, dance and movement. Taught by talented early childhood specialists, each of these classes is a foundational experience that enriches children’s future learning. Music and Movement Classes are taught in 16 week or 32 week session.
Movement with Mik
Ages 18 months to 4 years with an adult
These unique and creative classes spark young imaginations through music, movement and storytelling. Live piano accompanist.

With the guidance of expert teacher Martha Tornay, budding ballet enthusiasts deepen their love of dance.

Ages 4 to 5 years
Musical Connections creates the building blocks for future instrument exploration and study. Led by experience music teacher Cathy Guy, Musical Connections offers young musicians the opportunity to experiment with a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, cello and drum.

Toddler parents enjoy this natural, joyful way to share their love of music with their children. Everyone joins in - moving, tapping and responding to rhythms. Taught by instructor Cathy Guy.

NEW! Piano Party
Ages 2.5 - 3 with an adult
A fun beginning piano class for our youngest musicians! Children spend class singing together, playing musical games, drumming and trying out their songs on the piano. By the end of the semester, children will sing and play such songs as “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and “Hot Cross Buns.” Though designed as a prelude course to individual Suzuki lessons, this is a wonderful preparation for all piano methods.
