The art workshop offers students an opportunity to expand their experience in the visual arts. Classes include drawing, painting, ceramics and woodworking. Student artwork is on view throughout the School. Art Workshop (ages 5 to 12) Students are guided in the design, planning and execution of projects in woodworking, drawing, painting, collage and clay. Clay projects are glazed and fired in our ceramics kiln. Advanced hand-building techniques with coil and slabs are also taught. Previous experience with clay is helpful but not necessary. Class size is limited to 15 students; an assistant teacher is present for groups of 9 or more.
